Korea Health Industry Development Institute supports 38 companies at Bio Europe 2023

The Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI, President Cha Soon-do) participated in 'Bio Europe 2023' (November 6–8) held in Munich, Germany, where it promoted the competitiveness of Korea's pharmaceutical and bio industry, and provided support for Korean companies' participation and promotion at Bio Europe in collaboration with the Korea Pharmaceutical and Bio-pharma Manufacturers Association, the Korea Institute of Toxicology, and the Korea National Enterprise for Clinical Trials.

Bio Europe is the largest pharmaceutical and bio technology transaction forum in Europe. This year's event saw 2,075 companies from 64 countries participate, with 178 Korean companies attending—the fourth highest participation by country, following Germany, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

KHIDI announced the selection of 38 companies through a 'Bio Europe Participation Support Program' call-for-entries in July, and the selected companies were provided with partial funding for Bio Europe participation expenses and promotional opportunities through the Korean Pavilion booth.
