Professor Donghyun Kim received the Grand Prize at the Taejun Ophthalmology Paper Award at the recently held '126th Korean Ophthalmological Society Academic Conference.'
This Best Paper Award was received for a paper titled 'Usefulness of Tear Varicella-Zoster Virus Polymerase Chain Reaction Testing in Patients with Herpes Zoster Ophthalmicus.'
Professor Kim stated, "I am very pleased to have my efforts toward academic advancement recognized," adding, "I will continue to work even harder on research and clinical development as a result of this award."
The Taejun Ophthalmology Paper Award has been presented annually since 2002 to identify and honor healthcare professionals who have contributed to the advancement of ophthalmology in Korea, and to inspire ophthalmological research enthusiasm and social contribution.
