RudaCure to Present at BIO USA 2026 — Showcasing Membrane Protein-Targeted Pipeline for Dry Eye, Pain & Psoriasis

2026-06-18

RudaCure (CEO Yongho Kim), a bioventure specializing in membrane protein-targeted drug development, announced that it will deliver a Company Presentation at 'BIO USA 2026' in San Diego, USA on June 23 (local time).

RudaCure is participating in BIO USA, the world's largest bio partnering event held at the San Diego Convention Center from June 22–25, where it will introduce the company's core pipeline and business strategy to the global pharmaceutical and investment community at a Company Presentation session on June 23 at 12:00 noon. RudaCure is a bio-venture developing novel drugs targeting membrane proteins — including GPCRs and ion channels — located in cell membranes.

Membrane proteins are the most important drug target class, with more than half of all approved drugs acting on them. However, they are notoriously difficult to develop due to their complex structures and the challenges of obtaining stable proteins and designing effective drugs. RudaCure differentiates itself by combining structure-based drug design (SBDD) with AI and computational chemistry platforms to discover novel drug candidates in this high-difficulty space.

The lead pipeline is a dry eye disease treatment. Unlike existing immunosuppressant-based therapies, it applies a novel first-in-class mechanism targeting ion channels and has now entered Phase 2 clinical development. In the pain field, RudaCure is developing a multi-target non-narcotic analgesic centered on TRPV1, and has also secured a psoriasis treatment in the pipeline — expanding its membrane protein targeting technology across a range of hard-to-treat diseases.

CEO Yongho Kim stated: "Membrane proteins are the most validated drug targets, but equally the most difficult to develop. We have concentrated our core capabilities on solving this challenge. Through BIO USA, we will present the value of our pipeline spanning dry eye, pain, and psoriasis to global partners and begin substantive discussions on co-development and technology transfer."

RudaCure has selected Samsung Securities as its lead underwriter and is preparing for an IPO. The company plans to raise its global profile through this BIO USA participation and secure funding for subsequent pipeline development and clinical trials through the listing.
