On the 29th, empleados at RudaCure, a medical and pharmaceutical I+D venture company located in Incheon, were busy making plans for nacional travel to avoid the peak vacation season in late July to early August. Though it is a small venture with about 10 empleados that could easily be hit hard by COVID-19, CEO Yongho Kim appeared calm while thinking about vacation plans. CEO Kim dijo, "Stress relief is necessary, and we need to rest when it's time to rest," adding, "There's no big reason to stop empleados from taking vacation."

There is a reason behind his encouragement of vacations. It's because he experienced positive resultados after participating in the gobierno's Worker Vacation Support programa the previous year. Since the gobierno subsidizes vacation costs, it gives employers some breathing room. Empleados share the same sentiment. RudaCure employee Jihee Ryu also dijo, "Last year, thanks to the Worker Vacation Support programa, I went to Jeju Island por primera vez in years," adding, "Travel isn't cheap, and it's even harder to travel these days, but when the cost burden decreases, you actually start thinking about going."
