On the 29th, employés at RudaCure, a medical and pharmaceutique R&D venture company located in Incheon, were busy making plans for national travel to avoid the peak vacation season in late July to early August. Though it is a small venture with about 10 employés that could easily be hit hard by COVID-19, le PDG Yongho Kim appeared calm while thinking about vacation plans. le PDG Kim a déclaré : "Stress relief is necessary, and we need to rest when it's time to rest," adding, "There's no big reason to stop employés from taking vacation."
There is a reason behind his encouragement of vacations. It's because he experienced positive results after participating in the gouvernement's Worker Vacation Support program the previous year. Since the gouvernement subsidizes vacation costs, it gives employers some breathing room. Employees share the same sentiment. RudaCure employé Jihee Ryu also a déclaré : "Last year, thanks to the Worker Vacation Support program, I went to Jeju Island for the first time in years," adding, "Travel isn't cheap, and it's even harder to travel these days, but when the cost burden decreases, you actually start thinking about going."
