On the 27th, the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) released an introductory video for the joint research consortia selected for its support projects this year, encouraging active participation from stakeholders in the health industry sector.
KHIDI supports industry-academia-research-hospital joint research consortia with the goal of narrowing the gap between R&D and clinical practice through participation of diverse stakeholders including clinicians and startup companies, thereby promoting efficient commercialization.
The consortia raised approximately KRW 6.2 billion in research projects over the past year and achieved results including 2 product improvements, technology transfers, and 9 patent applications and registrations.
